Royals Soccer Complex
Our club is currently building our Royals Soccer Complex and we would like to give you current updates about costs, income (through fundraisers, sponsors, and donations), and progress made. Keay Construction finished the grading of two (2) full size fields at our Soccer Complex!!! It looks amazing and we will soon be ready to seed the fields. We need your active help in our current fundraisers to earn the money needed to finance the building steps described below. Our teams will start practicing at the new complex in August 2013.
Building steps
1. Concession stand & storage building. Costs: TBA soon
We received a sponsorship of $10,000 from a local business in exchange of the naming/advertisement rights to the building. Also, the concrete for the foundation as well as the material and labor for the roof will be donated by local companies. Construction costs in excess of $10,000 have to be raised!
2. Two (2) pumps. One (1) deep-well pump to get the water from the deep-well into the pond and one (1) pump to get the water from the pond on to the fields. Costs: about $4,000.
3. 600 pounds of La Prima Bermuda grass seeds. Costs: about $4,000
Total funds to raise: around $8,000 plus costs from concession stand & storage building!
